Belinda Dunbar is a United States Air Force Master Sergeant who enlisted in the Air Force right out of high school in March 1986. Her father served for 23 years as a Master Sergeant in the Army and Belinda said that’s what she always wanted to do since she was a little girl. Upon retiring from the Air Force in April of 2006, she had served our country for 20 years and 20 days.
Belinda is married to another Air Force veteran, Robert Dunbar whom she met when they were in basic training together at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. But they didn’t get married until 18 years later, in July 2004, when their career paths crossed again. Her husband Robert served for over 25 years.
Throughout Belinda’s career, she served at Air Force bases in Belgium, Puerto Rico and Saudi Arabia from which planes like jet fighters and B-52 bombers take off and land. “This is a blessing, ” she said of her reward. “these were repairs we just couldn’t’t seem to get to. I’m thrilled. It’s a blessing what CollisionMax is doing for veterans.”
